Such is our yearly 4 day Tomba school camp for the class 10 students !

From start on in 2016 it became a direct bucket list & most wanted to do event for all our students. For the last 7 years ! Tombacamp is our first choice for a school camp organisation.

It's the best & definitely the “Most adventures schoolcamp“ we offer to our students.

With their educative ,safe and adventures C.A.S. program “Tombacamp’’ created every year a new & perfect 4 days school camp. Our students love the serene surrounding at Jacaranda lodge and program offerd .

Also this last camp in September 2023 was again a great success, the 40 students & teachers hath a memorable time !

We are looking forward for the next episode with Tombacamp in 2024.

Tailor-made schoolcamp programs

When schools book a camp with us, they are given the opportunity to tell us all about their ideal experience.

We build our program around your school ideas and adapt our activities to your desired learning outcomes.

Our programs are built to be flexible and we'll always work to accommodate both your needs. By having adaptable programs & activities, we're able to create adventures that allow from age 10 and up worths to take part of the outdoor activities / Rafting cave exploration canyoning ,survival skills learn to start a safe fire, put up your own tents, sing along with the karaoke nights at the campfire, marshmallows on stick and much more !

We provide a full 24-hour camping experiences for schools. While we're careful to build some space into our programs so that the students have time to absorb and appreciate the experience, the rest of the day is filled with a wide range of engaging & educational activities with defined learning outcomes.

Program impact

Our programs are tailored to focus on life-skills such as communication, listening, self-esteem, co-operation and leadership. Students take responsibility for their belongings, learn about cooking, work together to complete complex tasks and more. We specifically developed our programs and activities to allow young people to learn and grow and we help schools transfer what was learned back into their lesson planning. Each of the activities comes with defined key learning outcomes and uses a structured learning and reviewing approach.

Depending on the program you build with us, your students will learn about survival skills , social awareness, the environment, geography, nutrition and physical education.

We only work with trained and experienced instructors, and our superb team have delivered the very best adventure education all around the globe. We make all of our risk assessments and we undertake a detailed annual review of all our policies alongside ongoing risk assessment. All of our Camp Directors & staff have high level first aid qualifications.

Basecamp accommodation

Our school camp happens within our private basecamp the Student and your staff team are always within a safe environment and never far away from Jacaranda Lodge .

Languages

Although English is the main used languages spoken on Tombacamp next to that students and staff speaks several other languages like Dutch ,German & Turkish .Basic understanding of English is fine , but not necessary a must to have a successful camp.
