MEET TOMBA
For more than 30 years, Dutch outdoor professional Tom Holleman (nicknamed Tomba) has been exploring and working across the globe, turning his passion for nature into a lifelong mission. With a rich and diverse background in outdoor programs, he has developed a distinctive approach to nature education—one that blends adventure, survival skills, and personal growth into unforgettable experiences.
Known for creating life-long memories, Tomba inspires young people through a powerful mix of outdoor challenges and hands-on learning. After a seven-year journey around the world, he settled in Turkey & founded Do It! Adventure Turkey in 2003, followed by the launch of TombaCamp in 2016 and staret building his lifelong Dream basecamp in the middle off Nature. These days Tomba runs the camp together with his wife Gonca Holleman, while their 16-year-old daughter, Noa Nehir, proudly joins as part of the next generation—already stepping into her role as a junior guide.
MEET TIM
Tombacamp co founder / Australian/ former ICCA Antalya / Cambridge teacher Tim Pringle is no stranger to outdoor adventure. With more than 25 Outward bound camps in the Australian wilderness under his belt, he knows the positive impact an adventure camp has on kids & teenagers. He joins the camp often as instructor / teacher in the outdoor education program.
MEET ANNA
Anna Nikitina joined the Tomba Camp team in 2025, bringing with her an incredible energy and a deep connection to the youth we serve. While she leads our marketing, sales, promotion efforts for the Russian & Ukrainian community, her role goes far beyond that.
Together with her daughter Alina, Anna is an active part of camp life, joining the camps, engaging with students, and filling each day with laughter, warmth, and meaningful activities. Their presence creates a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that truly resonates with teenagers.
Anna has become a key figure in building trust with Russian-speaking families, managing all communication with parents and students, and ensuring everyone feels understood, supported, and at home.
We are truly grateful for the positivity, care, and joy Anna brings to Tomba Camp, her impact on our campers is both visible and lasting.
